Dr. Konstantin Borozdin is vice president of physics and analytics for Decision Sciences. He has dedicated more than a decade of his career to the study and advancement of charged particle radiography, muon tomography, muon-induced fission, radiological, nuclear and contraband materials detection.
Prior to joining Decision Sciences, he was a team leader for the Muon Tomography team at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked for more than 15 years. He is one of the original inventors of scattering muon radiography. He started his research career at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, where he held positions as an engineer physicist and senior staff scientist.
Dr. Borozdin received a PhD in physics and mathematics from the Russian Space Research Institute and a Master’s degree in experimental nuclear physics from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. He is an author of more than 100 research articles and holds several patents.
